At this time, you may find yourself asking how do you replace a propane gas cylinder for BBQs? Well don’t panic, we are here to help.

First and foremost, never light a grill with the lid closed. You should always ensure that the cover is open first.

Step 1: Firstly, remove the empty tank and ensure that the gas valve is closed. Then unscrew the hose and remove the empty gas bottle.
Step 2: Remove the cover of the new bottle, tear the perforated seal of the valve and remove the protective cover. The attachments of the different gas bottles are different. Always refer to the installation instructions for your grill.
Step 3: Once done move on to securing the gas hose and connect the grill’s hose to the new propane cylinder. Tighten the knob properly with your hand.
Step 4: Turn the cylinder gas valve to the open position and you are good to go.

It is always wise to occasionally check the rubber gasket in the connector to ensure that it isn’t cracked as it could eventually leak, so a level of vigilance is recommended. Just give the instruction manual a once over and you are good to go.
