The BBQ and camping season is still with us and so you must ensure you are well equipped. If your barbecue is gas fired make sure you have a full gas cylinder and suitable regulator (a gas bottle regulator is obviously the connector that connects the bottled gas bottle to the appliance). Many people are moving towards gas fired BBQs instead of charcoal because whilst some like the authenticity of the charcoal barbecue, the gas barbecues are less messy to use and heat up more quickly. Also the gas barbecues take up less time to start up and controlling the heat is much easier so these prove to be more convenient.

When it comes to your gas barbeques you should ensure that you have the right kind bottled gas and the correct size bottle. Each bottle is colour coded and if you buy from us we can always help you choose the best gas bottle that is fit for purpose. If you do not have the correct connection devices from bottle to appliance (regulator) then just ask us for one of these as well. Again they vary accordingly.

Here is a rough guideline to regulators. Liquid Propane Gas bottles and Butane Gas Bottles have a wide range of gas regulators. These regulators can be used for Gas BBQs, Patio Heaters, Camping Stoves and Gas Heaters. These LPG regulators are suitable for any propane or butane cylinders. As these regulators come in different sizes for the different bottles with different fittings, you must first ensure that you have the correct regulator for your gas bottle. The red ones are for propane while the blue ones are for butane. There are Low pressure propane gas regulators with hand wheels which do not require a spanner. These regulators are suitable for small BBQ's, Patio Heaters and most of the other gas products.
